CONTENT RULES

Gutter is family-friendly: kids read and create here, so everything must be fine for an 8-year-old. Anyone may continue your panel and strangers read the feed. These rules apply to public, unlisted and private stories alike.

Not allowed

• Anything sexual or suggestive: nudity, revealing outfits, sexual jokes, romance beyond a hug. Any sexualisation of minors is banned and reported.
• Swearing, rude words (including disguised ones like “sh1t”), crude jokes, rude gestures or insults.
• Alcohol, drugs, smoking, vaping or gambling.
• Blood, gore, injuries, killing, realistic weapons pointed at people, or horror meant to really scare. Cartoon peril, pillow fights and silly ghosts are fine.
• Sharing personal details (phone, address, school, email) or asking anyone to meet up or chat elsewhere.
• Hate speech or attacks on people for who they are.
• Harassing, threatening or degrading real, identifiable people.
• Depicting real public figures in sexual, violent or defamatory ways, or impersonating anyone.
• Promoting self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, terrorism or extremist groups.
• Instructions for weapons, drugs or other serious crimes.
• Asking for the style of a named living artist or studio. Use Gutter's styles instead.
• Spam, scams, or automating the site to get around limits.

How moderation works

Every prompt is checked before anything is generated, and every image is checked before it's published. Images the checker isn't sure about are held for a human moderator. If several people report a panel it's hidden until a moderator reviews it. Repeated or serious violations can lead to account suspension.

Report something

Use "Report this panel" under any panel, or email [email protected].
